Thanks to software and mobile technology, inspections can be performed quickly and easily. Many inspection software manufacturers have developed their programs to be compatible with smartphones and tablet computers — devices supervisors and managers are already carrying with them.
Supervisors can input the data into the mobile device while still at the account and immediately pass along results to customers. Many of these devices even allow inspectors to take photos of problems and also offer visual proof that they were fixed.
It is important to note that the devices will work better on a Wi-Fi network, as sometimes it may be hard to get reception inside the building.
