Telephone timekeeping systems provide supervisors peace of mind that accounts are being serviced.
With phone-in systems, janitors place a call on a designated landline at the job site when they arrive and leave. Each employee and building has a designated code number to ensure the right employee is clocking in at the right job.
If no call is placed from the account, supervisors will know if a worker is absent. He will be able to make the necessary schedule adjustments to guarantee cleaning gets done and also take disciplinary action against the no-show employee.
