Several janitorial buying groups held their annual trade shows and conferences this spring, fostering a productive environment for peer networking, industry education and other business-building activities provided to bolster member-companies’ bottom lines.

From the sandy beaches of Florida, to Phoenix, Texas and Las Vegas, jan/san professionals gathered to check out new products and innovations and to meet with potential partners, as well as combine business best practices pertinent to the vitality of the independent janitorial distributor.

The conferences weren’t all work and no play, however. In addition to golf tournaments, awards receptions and industry parties, distributors took part in other unique activities, such as indulging in the street culture of San Diego; having dinner aboard a naval carrier; and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride.
