Remembering BSCAI Past President

Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) is saddened to share the news of former BSCAI President Michael Diamond's passing. The longtime BSCAI leader, member, and volunteer passed peacefully on September 13, 2026.

A devoted industry leader and family man, Diamond dedicated four decades to the commercial cleaning industry. Starting his career by carrying on his father's legacy at Premier Maintenance (PMI), he later made his own mark with AffinEco, LLC, as well as through his leadership as BSCAI President from 2019-2020.

BSCAI posted the following statement:

Michael remained connected to BSCAI throughout his career, including attending last fall’s BSCAI Contracting Success Conference in Las Vegas to celebrate BSCAI’s 60th Anniversary and participate in the Past Presidents reunion. His continued commitment to the association reflected the lasting relationships he built throughout his career and his dedication to the industry he served.

Fellow BSCAI Past President and close friend Paul Greenland, CBSE, shared a reflection that captures the kind of person Michael was: “Michael was the first BSC I met at my very first BSCAI event. To know Michael was to love Michael. He always went out of his way to make sure everyone felt included and welcomed, both personally and professionally.”

Michael’s leadership and contributions to BSCAI and the facility service industry will be remembered by the many colleagues, friends, and members whose lives and careers he touched.
