NFL Issues Policies For Facility Reopening
The most powerful and successful sports league in America has once again set the tone for athletic gatherings in the United States.
The National Football League and the NFL Players Association sent out a memo to its 32 franchises recently in which it detailed how each team would be expected to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic as they prepare for training camp and other actives, reports ESPN.
The memo focused on a wide-range of topics, according to the report. It described how teams are expected to screen and test for COVID-19, and how they'll be expected to help prevent and treat the pandemic at their facilities.
The league's memo also provides instruction on how team facilities should be accessed, as well as how they should be cleaned and disinfected. The leagues instruction also details the type of social distancing and hygiene protocols it expects players, coaches, management, ownership and all other staff to carry out.
Like the NFL, other businesses big and small have been doing a lot lately to ensure a safe reopening of operations and healthy work environment. For example, Club Quarters Hotels recently began its "Certified Safe & Clean Program," in an effort to better protect its customers and employees from infectious diseases.
