For the fifth consecutive year, Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) is co-locating its Annual Convention with ISSA/INTERCLEAN.

The convention kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 5 and runs through Saturday, Nov. 8. Events will be held either at the Orange County Convention Center or the Hilton Orlando Hotel.

What makes BSCAI’s convention unique are the peer-to-peer education sessions presented by BSCs for BSCs. Topics include the Affordable Care Act, safety, mergers and acquisitions, improving cleaning times and more. BSCs can better understand their customers by attending Thursday’s Opening General Session featuring David Hewett, a BOMA fellow. Saturday’s Closing General Session features Olympic Gold Medalist Summer Sanders.

New to the convention this year is the Awards Luncheon on Friday, Nov. 7. Replacing the RBSM/CBSE evening reception, the plated lunch event will honor award winners and recognize new and lifetime RBSM and CBSE designees.

Building on the success of last year, BSCAI is once again hosting Contractor Day on Friday. To start they day, BSCs can participate in an hour-long roundtable session to share experiences and best practices in a group setting. Afterwards, attend the morning’s keynote speech by champion basketball coach Rick Pitino. This keynote address is co-sponsored by BSCAI and ISSA.

By co-locating with ISSA, attendees of BSCAI can walk the huge ISSA/INTERCLEAN show floor Wednesday through Friday, giving BSCs access to the latest cleaning products and innovative vendors.
