With highly publicized outbreaks of H1N1 and MRSA occurring over the last couple of years, public concern for cleanliness has grown. So, too, has the demand for touch-free restroom products, as the general public wants to go in-and-out of the restroom while having to touch as few things as possible.
One critical touch point in most restrooms are towel dispensers. Manufacturers of these products now offer a wide variety of touch-free systems, which continue to improve in terms of aesthetics, maintenance and also promote health.
With so many occupants visiting the restrooms in high-traffic facilities, there is greater potential for cross-contamination. Touch-free towel dispensers, whether pull or sensor-operated eliminate a common touch point for users, reducing the spread of bacteria.
