Recognizing the 2025 Distributor Choice Award Winners

Looking back at the last 12 years of Sanitary Maintenance’s Distributor Choice Awards, it’s safe to say that the industry is always improving. New players are entering the market, existing products are given upgrades, technology is evolving, and third-party certifications are being awarded. Innovation in jan/san is alive and well, and distributors are at the forefront of the movement. 

Recognized for always being in-the-know, jan/san distributors embrace the responsibility of understanding the ins and outs of not just the products in their warehouse, but those innovations that might be coming down the pike. They pride themselves on knowing what works and what doesn’t. What will fly off the shelves and what will sit. What will resonate with end user customers and what will fall flat. Using this knowledge, distributors work with manufacturers to re-evaluate and update the cleaning tools necessary to meet the growing demands inside facilities. 

To help spotlight those products and equipment that stand out from the crowd, Sanitary Maintenance surveyed jan/san distributors across the country. Over a six-week period, those distributors voted through an online ballot, whittling down the best products before winners of the 2025 Distributor Choice Award were finally identified.  

Once again, products were divided into four main product categories: Chemicals; Cleaning Tools; Equipment and Accessories; and Restroom Dispensers, Fixtures and Consumables. Three additional categories — Health and Wellness, Technology and Innovation, and New Products — were also featured to identify new and improved products that promote healthy environments, and products that showcase the future of the industry. 

For each of the seven categories, distributors ranked their choices based on what they valued: bestselling, most preferred, most recommended, most innovative, etc. The three highest vote-getters were deemed the winners in each category.
