Claude E. "Bud" Strickler Jr., founder of York, Pa.-based Gent-l-kleen Products, passed away in April at the age of 87. Strickler founded the company out of his home in 1949. His original hand cleaner, "Strick," was renamed Gent-l-kleen in 1953. Strickler retired from the company in 1994 and handed over the reigns to his son, Jim.
