Vectair, a provider of aircare and hygiene solutions, announces a leadership transition designed to support the company’s continued growth and strategic priorities. Peter Lipke, Vectair’s CEO, has been appointed Executive Chairman of the Board, and Steve Schoembs, Vectair’s President, will assume the role of CEO.
Lipke has served as CEO of Vectair since 2020, guiding the company through notable acquisitions such as Big D Industries and WizKid Products. He has been instrumental in strengthening Vectair’s position in the global hygiene and aircare markets throughout the last five years. As Executive Chairman, Lipke will continue to support Vectair’s strategic direction, merger and acquisition priorities, and long-term growth initiatives, while working closely with the executive leadership team.
"There are significant opportunities ahead for our business," says Lipke. "I’m proud of our 30-year history and what we have built the last five years, and excited to continue supporting the company as Executive Chairman."
In October 2025, Schoembs joined Vectair as President, leading Vectair's U.S. sales strategy. As CEO, he will guide the company's global operations, customer strategy, and innovation roadmap. Prior to joining Vectair, Schoembs served as the CEO of Royal Paper and held numerous roles during a nearly 20-year career at Procter & Gamble managing its largest categories and customer partnerships in the U.S. and globally.
“I’m honored to step into the CEO role and lead Vectair forward. We have a strong foundation, an outstanding team, and incredible partners around the world," shares Schoembs.
