United Stationers has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, United Stationers Supply Co., has completed the purchase of 100 percent of the outstanding shares of CPO Commerce Inc.

A press release states CPO is an e-retailer of brand name power tools and equipment with proficiency in building and managing high performing online businesses. CPO's fiscal year 2013 sales were $78 million, with a sustained track record of double-digit annual growth

United Stationers is a supplier of business essentials, with 2013 net sales of $5.1 billion. The company stocks a broad assortment of  technology products, traditional office products, janitorial and breakroom supplies, office furniture, and industrial supplies. The company is headquartered in Deerfield, Illinois.
