Due to delays caused by the government shutdown, the President's Management Advisory Board (PMAB) has cancelled its meeting to address concerns over the Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative, originally scheduled for this afternoon.
The board released a statement saying the meeting will be rescheduled, the details of which will be announced in the Federal Register.
Research firm, Bornstein & Song, which has been analyzing the potential effects of the legislation, believe that the meeting cancellation may allow the PMAB members extra time to review the Public Comments submitted by the trade organizations, contractors, and vendors who voiced their concerns about the FSSI.
