Trojan’s HydroLink Receives Product Award For Second Year
HydroLink single-point battery watering system from Trojan Battery Co., LLC, has been chosen, for the second year in a row, as a 2016 Sanitary Maintenance Distributor Choice Award Winner by readers of Sanitary Maintenance magazine.
The Sanitary Maintenance Distributor Choice Awards Program recognizes the most innovative and useful sanitary supply products of the year, as determined by sanitary supply distributors who voted in an online campaign. The voters are readers of Sanitary Maintenance magazine, which reaches 15,000 of every type of distributor active in the sanitary supply marketplace, including janitorial, paper, foodservice, industrial and wholesale. Winners are featured in the May issue of the magazine.
Trojan Battery’s HydroLink watering system simplifies the task of maintaining flooded batteries, saving time and money. HydroLink can fill a set of batteries in less than 30 seconds, and features built-in water level indicators and automatic valve shut-off. The built-in independent water level indicator provides accurate readings of electrolyte levels, and the valve shut-off feature controls electrolyte levels, automatically shutting off water flow eliminating potential overflow or acid splash caused by overfilling.
HydroLink also is equipped with dual flame arrestors, important safety features not standard on many watering systems. The internal flame arrestors prevent internal sparks from passing through the watering system to neighboring cells, while the external flame arrestor prevents external sparks from entering the battery.
“Watering is key to maintaining flooded batteries, so single-point watering systems such as HydroLink are important to maintaining the health of flooded batteries used in floor cleaning equipment,” said Elke Hirschman, senior vice president of North American sales and corporate marketing for Trojan Battery. “Trojan’s HydroLink helps maximize the a company’s investment in deep-cycle batteries, while at the same time ensures maximum productivity and worry-free operation of equipment on the job site.”
