When asked, "Whose responsibility should it be to assure a worker is in a country legally?” nearly 48 percent (47.82 percent) of issa.com poll respondents named the employer. Coming in second, with nearly 37 percent (36.9 percent), was government. Just slightly over 15 percent (15.2 percent) thought assuring worker’s legal status should be up to the employee.
