Staten Island Giving Circle recently received a much-needed donation of $25,000 worth of cleaning supplies that will be used to aid Hurricane Sandy victims, who are still making repairs to their homes.
The supplies, donated by the Rahway, N.J- based Spruce Industries, will be distributed to various Hurricane Sandy relief organizations, including Guyon Rescue in Oakwood, Stapleton UAME Church pantry and the Mount Loretto pantry in Pleasant Plains, said Evelyn Kormanik, director of the Staten Island Giving Circle.
