Spartan Chemical Company, Inc., a manufacturer of sustainable cleaning and sanitation solutions for the industrial and institutional market, announced in May that Joanna Hunter has been promoted to the role of regional manager. Though just publicized this month, the promotion took place Feb. 1.

Spartan Chemical Company promoted Hunter to be regional manager for the Los Angeles region from her former position as a sales rep. Prior to joining Spartan, Hunter served as general manager for a small distributor company in Oceanside, California. Before that, she worked as a business consultant and career coach for three years. In that position, she provided expert coaching to help businesses and individuals improve productivity and personal outcomes. She also held several roles at Owens Illinois in Perrysburg, Ohio, spanning over six years, including product manager, as well as global technical training manager. 

Hunter attended Bowling Green State University, in Bowling Green, Ohio where she received her  Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media, later receiving her Master of Organization Leadership from Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio.
