Solenis, a global provider of water and hygiene solutions, has earned Platinum recognition from EcoVadis, placing the company in the top 1 percent of all companies assessed worldwide.
The distinction underscores both the rigor of EcoVadis’ methodology and the rarity of Platinum status, awarded to companies ranking in the top 1 percent of performance globally across environmental, labor, and human rights; ethics; and sustainable procurement criteria.
With this recognition, Solenis extends a seven-year streak of top-tier sustainability performance, ranking in at least the top 5 percent globally every year since 2020 and achieving four Platinum ratings since 2022.
“Sustained performance at this level doesn’t happen by chance,” says John Panichella, Chief Executive Officer, Solenis. “Earning EcoVadis Platinum again reflects the consistency of our approach and the accountability we’ve built into how we operate worldwide.”
EcoVadis assessments are based on internationally recognized sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact, and ISO 26000, and are conducted through a structured, evidence-based assessment and percentile ranking methodology.
“EcoVadis evaluates both the strength of management systems and measurable results,” notes Dr. Lotta Kanto Öqvist, Chief Sustainability Officer, Solenis. “Returning to Platinum reinforces that we are continuing to strengthen our programs, expand transparency, and deliver measurable progress across our operations and value chain.”
