Savoy Elementary School, in Washington, D.C., is being deep cleaned after after an infestation of rodents and bed bugs was discovered, according to an article on the NBC Washington website.
Students will attend school elsewhere until the cleaning is complete.
Workers spent the beginning of the week thoroughly cleaning and replacing all soft materials, including rugs, cots, blankets and pillows.
The school will have to pass a safety and health inspection after the cleaning.
