A former professional opera singer, TV host, writer, narrator, producer, actor, spokesman and advocate for the skilled trades, Rowe will speak during this event to be held Wednesday, Feb. 4 from 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
“ACI is thrilled to welcome Mike Rowe to our Annual Convention,” says Jennifer Abril, ACI President & CEO. “Mike has spent his career championing the people who keep America running. As ACI marks 100 years of advancing clean innovation, his message about the value of hard work and American manufacturing couldn’t be more fitting — and I suspect he’s used his fair share of cleaning products along the way.”
Rowe runs the mikeroweWORKS Foundation, which awards scholarships to students pursuing a career in the skilled trades, and has given approximately $16 million in work ethic scholarships since its inception. He has also given TED Talks and testified before the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee and the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources.
Tickets are now available for this unique Centennial Celebration luncheon. All proceeds will go toward ACI’s charity donation goal of $100,000 to benefit The WASH Foundation. Space is limited.
