Moved by the grit Texas A&M University facility maintenance staff showed in solving issues on campus caused by the winter storms that hammered the state, one local pizza business decided to award the workers' stomachs.

In collaboration with REACH Project, The Wild Garlic Pizza fed 50 maintenance workers on the Texas A&M Campus Feb. 18, reports KAGS-LD in Bryan, Texas. Tanner Purdum, owner of The Wild Garlic Pizza, cooked up the pizzas while REACH Project, a local nonprofit, organized and manned the pizza buffet at the university's Facility Service Building.

The Texas A&M maintenance staff probably had a massive appetite. They had been busy dealing with power outages, busted pipes, snow and ice from the night of Feb. 14 through when they were fed Feb. 18.
