Partnership Brings UVC Decontamination To Healthcare Facilities
Spectra254, a provider of UVC light disinfection solutions, announced that it has reached a three-year agreement with Yankee Alliance, a healthcare group purchasing organization (GPO) based in Andover, Massachusetts. The agreement, effective October 1, 2015, enables more than 12,000 Yankee Alliance member facilities to take advantage of preferred partner pricing and pre-negotiated terms when purchasing one of Spectra254’s UVC light disinfection solutions.
“Our partnership with Spectra254 gives our members access to an extremely effective and relevant technology with a proven 99.9% success kill rate that can be implemented immediately,” said Craig Shoukimas, Vice President of Contracting at Yankee Alliance. “With its comprehensive portfolio, Spectra254 offers solutions that meet the needs of our wide array of members, from hospital operating and emergency rooms to non-acute facilities and outpatient services.”
Spectra254’s entire line of UVC light decontamination solutions will be available to Yankee Alliance member facilities, including: the Spectra 1000 Series for decontamination of airborne and surface pathogens, the Spectra 600 Series for outpatient care, the Spectra 500 Series for emergency vehicles and the Spectra RDS Series for shared tools and devices.
