The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is hosting a virtual meeting on June 24 where they will solicit public comment on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). GHS is used to communicate hazard information on labels and safety data sheets.

According to statements from OSHA, they will consider the comments and information gathered at this meeting when developing the U.S. government positions for the United Nations meeting on GHS. That United Nations meeting will be held July 7-9 in Geneva, Switzerland.
