National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) President and CEO Eric R. Byer announced the promotion of six NACD staff members across key departments. Those promotions include:

- Doug Leigh, senior director of legislative affairs

- Caroline Brooks, director of responsible distribution

These promotions follow the addition of Analisa Toma as manager of regulatory affairs and Nick Breslin as coordinator of government affairs. Toma hails from the Healthcare Distribution Alliance where she focused on communicating policy-related issues for the association. She has a Master’s degree in public policy from George Mason University. Breslin worked for Higher Achievement, an education non-profit and formerly was a field organizer for Missouri Democratic Party, Claire McCaskill Senate Campaign. He has duel Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park in Government & Politics and Psychology.

“Our strength as an association has always come from our people, and I couldn’t be more proud of this team for the work they’ve done over the past year-and-a-half,” said Eric Byer. “These well-deserved promotions, which shortly follow the addition of outstanding new staff, demonstrate NACD’s commitment to enhancing our capabilities and member services at this formative point in the association’s history.”
