Montgomery Manufacturing has completed the purchase of Garland, Texas-based Carroll Company to form one of the nation’s largest packagers of private branded cleaning and maintenance chemicals.

Montgomery Manufacturing will relocate all production into Carroll Company's manufacturing facility located in Garland, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, which is a major transportation hub through the Southwest United States.  The facility has more than 135,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space with 28 dock high doors and a rail spur. The plant is a registered EPA (FIFRA) manufacturing organization, operates FDA approved facilities, NSF certifications, follows documented Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP), is OHSA and UN/DOT compliant, NSF compliant and is approved by the Orthodox Union as a Kosher manufacturer.

“This is an exciting opportunity for employees, distributors, and partners of both companies as we are now in a unique position to provide further efficiency on many fronts. Together we have an immediate focus on helping our customers achieve their goals, delivering branded and private label solutions that meet the market’s needs,”” said Zehr, noting that each company will continue to operate under its respective name.  “We have a lot of work to do integrating the companies’ cultures, growth strategies, and capabilities and believe that we will   create a new standard for excellence in the packaging of branded and private label chemicals.”

The new joint company brings together nearly 150 combined years of industry excellence.   Montgomery Manufacturing was founding in 1980 on a foundation that if it did not have the product customer needed, they would formulate it. Carroll Company was founded in 1921 on the cornerstones of consistent quality, superior service, and unimpeachable integrity.  The joined organizations will further support the customer initiatives with in-house sales and marketing, research and design, quality control, graphics and warehousing operations.

“Our charge is to deliver products and programs for our customers that provide a superior value proposition in the market. Our customers expect us to provide solutions that help them achieve their revenue growth and margin objectives,” adds Zehr. “We can do this by building on the solid foundation of both companies and with a strong clear vision for future innovations that meet our diverse customer needs.”
