Kaivac, Inc., is proud to announce that they have been honored with an Export Achievement Award.

The Export Achievement Award was created in 2001 and is sponsored by the U.S. Commercial Service, an agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce.

The organization works with small- to medium-sized U.S. companies to promote international trade and export growth and recognize U.S. businesses that have achieved competitive success in international markets.

According to Bob Robinson Sr., President of Kaivac, the award was given to Kaivac primarily because of its marketing efforts and business development in Qatar, a small country bordering Saudi Arabia.

“Last year, Kaivac saw sales grow from $0 to almost $100,000 [in Qatar],” says Robinson. “This makes Qatar a significant international market for our company.”

Robinson says that Kaivac is honored to receive the award, noting that it demonstrates that even smaller American companies can compete in the global market place.

“It all comes down to [product] innovation. We must apply our intellectual capital and the entrepreneurial spirit America is famous for…to help us reinvigorate our economy and create jobs for today and the future,” says Robinson.
