A jan/san distributor who has been servicing local customers for decades is once again coming through to give those businesses, schools and places of worship what they need to stay open.

Sanford Company has been the place many businesses and organizations in the Erie, Pennsylvania-area have turned to when they've need vital disinfecting and cleaning products during the COVID-19 pandemic, reports YourErie.com.

Bethel Christian School, an educator of Pre-K through high school seniors in Erie, opened for the 2020-2021 school year back in late August. The school has been able to stay open with zero reported cases of COVID-19 this entire time. A lot of the credit for the success goes to "the protocols" Sanford has supplied, Administrator Kathe Gleason told YourErie.

Sanford isn't just there for the businesses and organizations that have been open throughout the pandemic. The company has been supplying non-toxic, American-made disinfectants to those that are just now reopening their doors. The company has committed to helping any business or organization in Erie that requests its assistance, too. Sanford has been in business since 1970, according to its website.

It's a good thing there's places people in Erie County can turn to for help during the pandemic, because like so many places, COVID-19 hasn't been easy on the area. There have been 428 deaths due to COVID-19 and another 16,770 cases during the pandemic, according to county government's website.
