In Memory of BSCAI Past President

Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) regretfully reports that Kevin Rohan, a former president of BSCAI, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026. 

A respected industry leader, Rohan devoted his decades-long career to advancing the commercial cleaning industry. From his leadership at Cavalier Services to his unwavering commitment to BSCAI, he leaves behind an immeasurable industry impact.

BSCAI posted the following statement:

Throughout decades of service, Kevin helped strengthen our association, mentored countless industry professionals, and championed the values that continue to define our community today. His leadership left a lasting mark on both BSCAI and the building service contracting profession.

Those who knew Kevin remember not only his business acumen but also his integrity, generosity, and genuine investment in the success of others. He believed that great companies are built by developing great people, and his influence continues through the many leaders whose careers he helped shape.

Bill Warnecki, CBSE, BSCAI President-Elect and CEO of SERVPRO of Alexandria, shared the following tribute to his longtime partner, mentor, and friend:

"I had a front-row seat to witness what exceptional leadership truly looks like. Kevin led with integrity, an unwavering work ethic, an a deep belief that success was measured not only by the work we delivered, but by how we treated our teammates and our customers.

Long before culture became a business buzzword, Kevin understood that people were the heart of every successful organization. He invested in others, celebrated their successes, and led by example. He didn't simply build a great company; he built great leaders.

His influence reached far beyond Cavalier Services. Through his decades of service to BSCAI and the commercial cleaning industry, Kevin inspired business owners, elevated our profession, and earned the respect of everyone who knew him.

I will always be grateful to have learned from Kevin and to have called him my partner, mentor, and friend. While our industry has lot one of its true pioneers, his legacy will continue through."
