The 27th edition of ISSA PULIRE has successfully concluded, once again confirming its role as an international benchmark for the industry. The 2025 edition welcomed 421 exhibitors, 52 more than in 2023, with a significant presence of 169 first-time exhibitors, reflecting the growing interest and dynamism within the sector.

Attendance reached 21,020 visits from 101 countries, 28 percent of whom came from abroad. The majority of international participants were from Europe (76 percent), followed  by Asia (11 percent), America (5 percent), and Africa (4 percent). Contributing to this success was the presence of international buyer delegations, organized in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency, from Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, Nigeria, and South Africa.

“I’m very pleased with the results of this edition,” commented Toni D’Andrea, CEO of ISSA PULIRE Network. “The extraordinary turnout and the quality of both exhibitors and visitors show how the industry is constantly evolving, and how the trade fair continues to be a central event on the international stage. These figures confirm ISSA PULIRE’s role as a global platform for innovation, networking, and professional development, integrating technology, sustainability, and education.”

There was also great enthusiasm for the special initiatives, including the “Product of the Year ISSA PULIRE 2025” award, which was presented to I-Walk by I-Team, selected for its compact and functional design, ease of use, and strong focus on sustainability—providing a tangible contribution to the smart transformation of cleaning operations. The People’s Choice Mention, voted by attendees, was awarded to Hy-genio by Hygenia, a complete cleaning system designed to optimize operations in professional environments while reducing waste, downtime, and operator risk. The event showcased the technological and design excellence that defines the industry.

Another highlight was the ISSA PULIRE Hackathon, which brought together eight multidisciplinary teams of university students who competed on the theme of intelligent and sustainable cleaning management for two futuristic stadiums in Milan, imagined in 2035 as cutting-edge multifunctional hubs. The first prize was awarded to the I-Team Team, sponsored by the namesake company and composed of three students enrolled in the Industrial Automation Engineering program at the University of Brescia. Second place went to the Idrobase ISSA Team, composed of four students from the Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics & AI programs at the University of Milano-Bicocca, University of Milan (Statale), and University of Pavia.
