ISSA Charities Awards 2021–2022 Scholarships
ISSA Scholars, a signature ISSA Charities program, announced the recipients of the ISSA Scholars 2021-2022 Scholarship Awards. Thanks to the generous contributions of ISSA member companies and individuals, 35 scholarships were awarded to new and continuing college students, for a total of US $111,250 donated in financial aid.
“After an unprecedented year for everyone, but especially for those entering college or continuing their education, we’re excited to introduce this year’s ISSA Scholars recipients,” said Sandy Wolfrum, ISSA Charities Director of Development. “We’re grateful to our member companies that make these scholarships possible and hope to continue adding more opportunities to introduce students to the essential world of cleaning.”
Since 1988, the ISSA Charities Scholarship Program has helped individuals fulfill their dreams of higher education. ISSA Scholars has provided nearly $4 million in financial aid to over 1,000 college and university students. Open to all employees of ISSA member companies, and their immediate family members, ISSA Scholars aims to relieve the burden of tuition and introduce a new generation to the worldwide cleaning industry.
Eligible candidates include those entering or continuing studies at fully accredited four-year colleges and universities. Scholarships were awarded based on merit, individual accomplishments, and evidence of leadership. The 2021-2022 Scholarships and recipients include:
