IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, and the World Green Building Council will collaborate to rapidly scale up the construction of green buildings in emerging markets. The new partnership demonstrates a shared commitment to enhancing the built environment and mitigating climate change.
The relationship will be announced at an event with several presentations:
• “The Business Case for Green Buildings” by the WorldGBC
• The debut of IFC’s EDGE application for mass market green building design and certification
• U.S. Green Building Council on how green buildings respond to climate change
