The Ashkin Group and Green2Sustainable announced that Steve Ashkin, CEO of both organizations, has been asked to be on the Advisory Board for Greenbuild 2025. This year’s Greenbuild conference, convention, and expo will be in Los Angeles, California, November 4–7, 2025.

“I’m excited to lend my expertise as a member of the Advisory Board for Greenbuild 2025,” says Ashkin. “In so many ways, Greenbuild has paved the way for green innovation and sustainability.”

According to Ashkin, Greenbuild was founded in 2002 and, over the years, has become the world’s largest green building conference and expo.

“Without question, it has become the go-to place for the green building industry to convene, and it is where the future of the green building movement is shaped," he says. "This is a key reason I am so honored to serve on the Greenbuild advisory board.”

As to why Greenbuild has become so important to so many people in so many industry sectors, Ashkin points to the following:
· Its where green inspiration happens.
· Business relationships are formed and cultivated.
· Innovation is recognized, honored, and celebrated.
· Where people from around the globe come to connect and remind each other why they work so hard to better the built environment.

Along with unmatched networking opportunities, exhibits, LEED workshops, and tours of local green buildings, this year’s keynote speaker is actor, director, activist, and author Don Cheadle.

Don Cheadle is an Academy Award, Emmy, and Golden Globe-nominated actor who has appeared in hit movies, including “Iron Man,” “Crash,” “Hotel Rwanda,” and “Avengers: End Game.” He is also a leading advocate for renewable energy and has served as a U.N. Environment Program (UNEP) Goodwill Ambassador.

“Around the world, green issues and a focus on sustainability are stronger than ever,” adds Ashkin. “I personally invite those in the professional cleaning industry and all service providers, to see what’s happening, how a focus on green and sustainability can benefit you, and our planet.”
