Green Cleaning Services Spike Since The Pandemic's Start
Stratus Building Solutions, a national green commercial cleaning and janitorial services franchise, has passed a major milestone, disinfecting more than 10,000 businesses since the pandemic began in late February.
According to a press release from the company, Stratus Building Solutions quickly recognized the importance of commercial cleaning companies as the COVID-19 virus began to spread across the United States and Canada.
“No one expected this pandemic, but we’ve always had the tools and resources in place to spring into action when something like this threatens health and safety,” said Afshin Cangarlu, Stratus Building Solutions CEO. “I’m so proud of all of our franchisees for rising up to meet the increased demand for our services and for helping their customers by keeping facilities safe for anyone who enters.”
Stratus Building Solutions saw a 222 percent increase in special service sales from 2019 to 2020, showing the extreme shift in the marketplace once COVID-19 became a concern. The company is now ready to prepare for a new year that could include a return to the office for many employees who have been working from home.
“Commercial cleaning is no longer a luxury in a society that has lived through a pandemic,” said Cangarlu. “People will now expect a different level of cleaning and sanitation everywhere they go. We are ready for this challenge and have the tools and expertise to make sure people feel good about the places they work or schools they attend.”
Stratus Building Solutions is currently present in approximately 57 U.S. and Canadian metropolitan locations. It provides services to a wide range of clients, including offices, medical facilities, warehouses, schools, religious centers, gyms, retailers and more.
