Gordon Brush Mfg. Co., Inc. was featured on the front page of the business section of the Sunday, February 3, 2013 issue of the Los Angeles Times.
The article discussed issues the Company has encountered with local governmental agencies in its quest to expand its Commerce manufacturing facility. At issue is a lack of coordination amongst the various regulatory agencies and ambiguous codes that prohibit a California manufacturer to remain in place and even expand.
"This stalemate is not affecting Gordon Brush's ability to grow its business," said Ken Rakusin, company president, as the Company has invested in more modern automation coupled with lean manufacturing practices.
