GP PRO, a division of Georgia-Pacific, announced that GPXpress, its sales and customer support capability, has won a Bronze Stevie Award in the Sales Achievement: Sales Enablement category in the 2025 Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service competition. The Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service are the world’s top honors for sales, customer service, business development, and contact center professionals.
“GPXpress offers a unique and highly differentiated capability within the industry, so it’s incredibly rewarding and validating for each member of the team to be recognized by the most prestigious customer service awards program in the world,” says Elizabeth Day-Curi, senior director of CPG Sales Strategy and Customer Excellence with Georgia-Pacific.
By providing live agent and self-service customer service support via phone and an online and mobile applications, GPXpress aims to make doing business with GP PRO easy and efficient. The GPXpress team also supports GP PRO’s internal sales and external distributor sales representatives (DSRs). GPXpress was established in 2005 and has 47 employees who support 30,849 customers, internal sales representatives, and DSRs.
GPXpress is recognized for being an early adopter of technologies designed to transform customer service. For example, GPXpress co-designed a custom Visual Remote Assistance (VRA) software solution. VRA uses a customer’s mobile phone camera to remotely give GPXpress team members visual access to GP PRO products during troubleshooting calls. Since launching the software, GPXpress has seen a 20 percent increase in first-time call resolution.
In addition, the GPXpress mobile application sets a new industry standard among industrial and foodservice DSRs within the cleaning industry. The app’s features empower DSRs to order samples, locate products, access self-service knowledge articles, and identify the best solution for their customers. Following a recent update, app usage has increased 58 percent.
“For almost 20 years, GPXpress has added value in a way that makes a difference every day for GP PRO sales employees, customers, and DSRs. I’m incredibly proud of each and every member of the team and congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition,” says Day-Curi.
More than 2,100 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry, in 45 nations and territories, were considered across 150 categories in this year’s Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service competition. Winners were determined by the average scores of 176 professionals worldwide on seven specialized judging committees.
