EnerSys achieved an impressive feat, by officially selling its 50,000th NexSys battery in the United States, the Reading, Pennsylvania-based battery manufacturer announced in a statement.
The landmark sale was made to a California community college and will help power one of the school’s electric utility vehicles.
NexSys batteries are made with thin plate pure lead technology, don’t require watering, can be fast-charged in less than two hours and can be partially charged, making them an option for opportunity charging.
