Diamond Chemical of East Rutherford New Jersey, a national manufacturer of laundry, warewash, floor care, housekeeping, organic intermediates, industrial and consumer products, announced the compay has acquired certain assets of Unichem, of Chicago, Illinois.

Unichem is a specialty chemical manufacturer and distributor of high quality chemicals for the dry cleaning, hospital, industrial and institutional laundry industries for over forty years. The transition, according to the firm, "will be seamless and Unichem’s current customers will continue to receive the same high quality products and service from Diamond that Unichem previously supplied to them."
