Known as "Dr. Dust" for his enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the professional cleaning industry, Bob Stewart has been hired to be the new Regional Sales Manager-West for Crown Mats and Matting, a 70-year-old matting manufacturer based in Fremont, Ohio.
 
Stewart was formerly with the Black Rock Group, a sales and marketing organization for the professional cleaning industry. Prior to that, Bob spent much of his career in the rental mat industry and worked as a regional manager with The Andersen Company, also a manufacturer of matting systems.

In addition to hiring a new regional sales manager, Crown has been certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The award is presented to organizations that meet state-of-the-art specifications for products, services, and practices; these standards and specifications help organizations and entire industries be more efficient and effective.
 
"We have just recently completed the ISO 9001-2008 certification process," says Dennis Knapp, director of sales for Crown, "and this is something we are very proud of."
 
According to Knapp, ISO 9001-2008 certification recognizes companies that have accomplished the following:   
    •    Demonstrated their ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
    •    Enhanced customer satisfaction through processes, programs, and continued product improvement to help address customer, statutory, and regulatory needs
