Sarasota-based Milestone Marketing Associates launched a new website for Oakboro, North Carolina-based Carolina Paper Company (CPC) at the end of 2011.

“We were looking for a company that could offer the right mix of flexibility, creativity, technical skills and marketing insight,” says Dai Morgan, CPC’s Regional Sales Manager. “Milestone fit the bill to a tee.”

Milestone Marketing’s CEO Matthew Anderson explains that CPC wanted a website that would provide potential clients, distributors and sales staff with easy access to its online product catalog. The catalog would not just be limited to paper products, but would also be cross-referenced with a database of dispensers.

“Dispensers go hand-in-hand with paper products,” Mr. Anderson says. “Carolina Paper wanted to make sure that when their customers used the new website, they’d have a set of appropriate products to choose from at the same time they place their paper order.”

When a customer selects a product from the CPC database, a list of compatible dispenser options is also displayed on the right-hand side of the browser window. Customers can click on those options to learn more about them.

According to Mr. Morgan, CPC’s website-driven sales have increased dramatically since the site redesign.

“We’ve seen sales go up significantly since the new site went live,” he says. “There’s a lot of new business, and we couldn’t be more pleased about it.”
