With the recent additions of a vacuum and extractor, the Carpet and Rug Institute's Seal of Approval testing and certification program for carpet cleaning products and equipment grows to a total of 973. 

In the Vacuums category, Panasonic of Secaucus, N.J., earns Seal of Approval's Bronze Level for their Panasonic MC-UG728 household upright.
  
From Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Dustbane Products Limited has earned Bronze Level status on their Dustbane 1200XT-300 and Dustbane 1200XT-500 portable extractors.

There are now 94 machines certified in the the Seal of Approval Certified Deep Cleaning Extractors category.
