The Daily Record recognizes Ron Attman, Co-CEO of Acme Paper, in its 2025 list of Influential Marylanders.
The Influential Marylanders were selected by the editors of The Daily Record for their significant contributions to their respective fields and for their leadership in Maryland in the following areas: civic leadership, communications, education, finance, freestyle, general business, health care, law, philanthropy, real estate, and technology.
Attman has served as Co-CEO since 2014 and has contributed to Acme Paper through various roles since 1968. He is an active community member who has served on numerous boards, including The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore and Northwest Hospital.
“The 2025 Influential Marylanders are dynamic leaders who are at the pinnacle of their careers, working to improve our lives, our state and our future. They are visionary, respected and actively engaged in the community,” says Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/The Daily Record. “Influential Marylanders mentor other leaders and spark innovation and progress. We at The Daily Record are pleased to honor these outstanding members of the community.”
Upon receiving the award, Attman expressed gratitude.
“I’m deeply honored to be named an Influential Marylander,” he says. "This recognition not only reflects the growth we’ve strived for at Acme Paper, but also the importance of leading by example and giving back to our community.”
The Influential Marylanders will be honored on Sept. 18 at The Grand Lodge in Cockeysville. The celebration will include networking, dinner, and awards, followed by a reception. Winners will be featured in a special magazine that will be included in the Sept. 19 issue of The Daily Record.
