Best Western Thompson Hotel & Suites has won a company award for being among the top 20 per cent of more than 2,100 North American properties in cleanliness and maintenance.

The Best Western Director’s Award for outstanding quality standards also requires that hotels meet the company’s requirement for design and high customer service scores to be eligible for the recognition.

“The Director’s Award is an important symbol of success,” said Best Western Thompson Hotel & Suites general manager Ethel Timbang in a press release. “This award confirms that the Best Western Thompson Hotel & Suites’ commitment to providing quality accommodations for our guests. Our housekeeping and maintenance departments have worked hard to achieve this level of excellence.”

According to reports from Thompson Citizen, the 80-room Best Western Hotel & Suites also won a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in May and was one of 44 Best Western International properties in the U.S. and Canada – including one of only six in Canada - to receive both the M.K. Guertin Award and the Champion Customer Care Award at Best Western International’s 2014 convention in Toronto last October.
