Several individuals on the island of Bermuda advanced their professional knowledge recently by taking a nine hour accredited cleaning technician certification course via remote learning, according to the Academy of Cleaning Excellence.

The sessions were facilitated by Bermuda's Department of Workforce Development, Atlantic Cleaning & Maintenance, Connectech Coding in conjunction with the Academy of Cleaning Excellence. The professional learning modules were taught over the course of three afternoons for three hours at a time. 

As part of the sessions, students asked questions, watched live demonstrations and took quizzes. Each participant passed a 30 point exam, which allowed them to earn Accredited Cleaning Technician Certification from the Academy of Cleaning Excellence.
