New manager concept

The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) announced the appointment of Jamie Logan as manager, State Government Affairs, and the promotion of Ryan Heisler to senior manager, Environmental & Scientific Affairs. In this role, Mr. Logan will be responsible for engaging and helping to further build on ACI’s strong leadership on legislative and regulatory priorities in the states.

Mr. Logan joins ACI from the National Emergency Management Association (NEMA), where he was a policy analyst. He graduated from Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) with a Bachelor of Art in Political Science and in Global Studies.

“Jamie’s expertise will play an integral role in ACI’s state government affairs space,” says Douglas Troutman, ACI general counsel, corporate secretary & senior vice president, Government Affairs. “We are excited to have him join the team and look forward to the work he will do for industry.”

Mr. Heisler manages scientific research and outreach on the environmental fate and effects of cleaning products and their ingredients. He oversees the refinement and development of iSTREEM, ACI’s down-the-drain product disposal model and the Cleaning Chemistry Catalog, ACI’s online resource for ingredient safety.

He previously served as Manager of Environmental & Scientific Affairs since joining ACI in 2020 and has a Bachelor of Science in Aquatic Science and Fisheries Management from Juniata College (Huntingdon, PA) and a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from Plymouth State University (Plymouth, NH).

“This promotion recognizes the great work Ryan does, not only for ACI, but for the cleaning products industry as a whole,” says Kathleen Stanton, associate vice president, Technical & International Affairs. “We are grateful to have an on-staff expert like Ryan as part of ACI.”
