
The American Cleaning Institute (ACI), the trade association for the U.S. cleaning product supply chain, announced the appointment of Katie Sullivan as Director, Issue Communications and Lindsey Mathis as Project Manager, Operations.
In her role, Sullivan will manage communications efforts on key industry issues, building ACI’s messaging platforms to foster the growth and innovation of the U.S. cleaning products industry. She will also work with ACI’s Government Affairs Team, helping to communicate the association’s legislative and regulatory priorities, and serving as a spokesperson for the Institute. Previously, she served as an Account Director at Reingold. Sullivan graduated from Penn State University (University Park, PA) with a B.A. in journalism and a Master of Business Administration. Sullivan also received a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
“Katie’s combined communications and project management expertise will be a valuable addition to ACI, increasing our ability to effectively advocate for key industry issues,” said Brian Sansoni, Senior Vice President, Communications, Outreach & Membership. “We are pleased to welcome Katie to our award-winning communications team.”
As Project Manager, Operations, Mathis will support ACI’s internal operations, coordinating projects across the Institute. She will also assist ACI’s Meetings Team in serving our membership at the Institute’s events and programs. Previously, she served as Project Manager at DCBI Manufacturing. Mathis graduated from Sam Houston State University (Huntsville, TX) with a B.A. in political science and Texas A&M University (College Station, TX) with a Master of Public Service and Administration.
