Two workers shake hands after a deal

4M Building Solutions has acquired Heritage Healthcare Services of Cranston, Rhode Island, the company announced. The purchase is the fourth acquisition the St. Louis-based janitorial company has made in the past two years.

Heritage CEO Brian Hainse will remain with the company as its executive vice president, along with vice president of operations Elizabeth Hainse and the 375 person Heritage staff.

“Everyone at Heritage is really looking forward to joining and being part of the 4M team and family,” says Hainse. ”We know the Heritage tradition and legacy of providing quality services with honesty and integrity will continue in an even bigger way with our common cultures. 4M’s industry leading expertise and unequalled depth and resources will allow our continued growth and success leading the healthcare housekeeping and laundry services market.”

Heritage Healthcare Services has provided housekeeping and laundry services to senior living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation facilities, memory care facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, long term acute care hospitals and behavioral health and psychiatric facilities for over 30 years throughout the Northeast and Southeast United States.

“We are extremely proud and honored to have the Heritage team and customers join the 4M team and family,” says 4M CEO Tim Murch. “We are fully committed to support their continued success and growth with 4M’s many unique systems, processes and industry award winning programs that truly differentiate us. The acquisition of Heritage, their outstanding reputation and customer base along with their healthcare expertise as a 30 year leader in the healthcare housekeeping and laundry services aligns with our strategic plan and commitment to significantly grow our healthcare market segment.”

Heritage will operate as a division of 4M Building Solutions, keeping the Heritage name and building.
