4M Building Solutions and O2 Investment Partners announce that 4M, a leading commercial cleaning and janitorial services business, has appointed Leonard Carder as its new Chief Executive Officer. Carder will lead the company through 4M’s next phase of growth and development. Carder succeeds Tim Murch, who will remain in an advisory role and continue to support the firm’s successful growth initiatives.
Carder brings over 30 years of experience in the facility services sector with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation. Previously, he held executive leadership roles at several nationwide firms—including Watterson, Aptive Environmental, REEF Technology, and ABM Industries. In these roles, he focused on developing enterprise-wide value and impact, resulting in several successful exits.
“Leonard is a proven leader with tremendous experience deploying overall vision and strategy throughout service-centric organizations. I am thrilled to welcome him and support his ability to leverage 4M’s success in delivering superior facility services at scale,” Murch says.
As CEO, Carder will oversee all aspects of the company’s operations and strategic direction, including technological and process developments, market expansion, and customer engagement.
“I am honored to join 4M Building Solutions and lead such a talented team,” Carder shares. “Our culture and commitment to excellence are the cornerstones of achieving success over the past five decades. I look forward to working closely with everyone throughout the firm as we continue to deliver exceptional value and innovation to our valued clients, team members, and shareholders.”
Mark Heneman, vice president, O2, adds, “We are excited to welcome Leonard to the amazing 4M Building Solutions family. He is a proven leader with extensive experience in scaling facility services businesses. Leonard’s addition complements our highly skilled leadership team and signals our commitment to market expansion and dedication to our staff and clients.”
