4M Building Solutions Acquires Miracle Clean Services, Expands Presence in Northeast Ohio

4M Building Solutions, provider of commercial cleaning and janitorial services, announced its acquisition of Miracle Clean Services, a well-established cleaning services company based in Northeast Ohio. June 2 marked the official first day of operations for Miracle Clean under 4M and represents a continued expansion of 4M’s footprint throughout the state of Ohio. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2013, Miracle Clean Services has established a strong reputation for excellence across various industries, including corporate-owned facilities, multi-tenant buildings, and retail, healthcare, and industrial manufacturing environments. With a team of 71 dedicated professionals and longstanding client contracts, Miracle Clean Services brings a wealth of talent and operational strength to the 4M portfolio. The company is based in Akron, Ohio, part of the Cleveland-Akron-Canton metropolitan area.

“This acquisition represents another exciting step forward in our growth strategy,” said Tim Murch, CBSE, CEO and managing partner at 4M. “We’ve been servicing the Ohio Market for many years, built a strong book of business, and the timing was right to continue our growth in Ohio with a partner that aligns with our thinking about Team Member culture, values, and service excellence.”

Brothers Jeremy and Josh Randles launched Miracle Clean Services in 2013 while still working at a Fortune 500 company in the facility services industry. What started as a side venture with minimal marketing and advertising grew steadily, eventually requiring full-time leadership and additional staff. In February 2016, Jeremy transitioned to Miracle Clean full-time to focus on sales, followed soon after by Josh. Since then, Miracle Clean has continued to expand, becoming one of the leading commercial cleaning companies in Northeast Ohio.

Jeremy Randles, CEO, and Josh Randles, CFO, will remain on board as independent consultants through an unspecified transition period, working closely with 4M to ensure a smooth handoff and continuity of service. Lisa Randles, Miracle’s vice president of operations and Jeremy’s spouse, will join 4M team as district manager, overseeing Northeast Ohio operations.

“All of us at Miracle Clean are incredibly excited to join forces with 4M to build on the solid foundation we started and the privilege of watching it grow,” said Lisa Randles. “We’re thrilled to offer our employees increased benefits and opportunities, and to bring innovative new resources and solutions to our customers. I’m blessed to be able to stay on and continue my role in an even bigger way—and to work alongside 4M during a transition that has been remarkably smooth for our employees and customers and will continue to be.”

Miracle Clean Services will be fully rebranded under the 4M Building Solutions name effective immediately. Miracle Clean marks 4M’s 36th acquisition since its founding in 1978 and its tenth since receiving a significant investment from O2 Investment Partners in January 2023. 4M has been in the Ohio market for many years and expanded there in July 2020 with the acquisition of Quality Building Services, followed by another growth milestone in February 2023 with the purchase of Capital Services Inc. in Columbus.
