Sellars Leader Named Notable CFO

John Lutz, CFO at Sellars Absorbent Materials, has been recognized as a Notable CFO by BizTimes Media.

Lutz joined Sellars four years ago as Vice President of Finance and was subsequently promoted to CFO. As a member of the leadership team, he makes significant contributions to improvements throughout the company, as well as secures capital to finance capital expenditures and sustained growth.

Early on, Lutz realigned the finance team and increased automation and technology, improving operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. He also implemented new financial reporting systems that provide users with easy access to quality data to inform and drive business decisions. Overall, he fostered a collaborative environment between finance, IT, and other departments.
