Role Description The Field Operations Supervisor (Commercial Janitorial) is a full-time, on-site role based in Playa Vista, CA, at a large tech company. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day janitorial operations across the campus. This role coordinates field staff schedules, assigns work, and monitors performance to ensure service quality, safety compliance, and adherence to company standards. The supervisor conducts site inspections, provides hands-on guidance and training, and quickly addresses any service issues or client concerns. The position works closely with management and client to maintain strong relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and implement operational improvements. The Field Operations Supervisor also manages basic reporting, inventory needs, and supports onboarding of field personnel as needed.

Qualifications

Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, coaching, and performance monitoring.

Experience in field operations and field service within janitorial, facilities, or related service industries.

Background in operations management, including scheduling, and process improvement.

Proficient with smart phones, email, and basic computer applications.

Focus on customer satisfaction, with ability to communicate effectively with management and resolve service issues promptly. Maintain a professional, customer focused presence on site.

Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and proper use of janitorial equipment and supplies.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work on-site, travel between local client locations, and perform occasional hands-on support.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in facilities or operations are a plus.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field visits. Ability to pass background screening.

Needs to be proficient in Spanish
