Housekeeping Supervisor Wanted - Cashiers NC

Job Summary:

Employees are expected to work as a team for the betterment of the department; to take pride in their work with a goal to achieve the highest standard of “clean”; and take a personal responsibility for understanding how to provide the services offered by the department through the training program provided. Employee will be taught how to achieve these standards and what cleaning products will be used for each task.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Reports to: Director of Housekeeping. Clubhouse, Outlet Facilities & Laundry room as well as cover Assistant Housekeeping Manager areas of responsibility.



Job duties and Tasks

Assist Director in scheduling Staff for Clubhouse & Facilities

Review daily Clubhouse and Outlet Facilities schedule with Director

Open Clubhouse daily and set opening schedule for morning Staff

Help in training Staff on how to clean Clubhouse and Outlet Facilities and check to be sure we are maintaining standards daily.

Maintain housekeeping standard throughout the workday for Clubhouse and Outlet Facilities.

Supervise Laundry room daily operation

Check Employee Restrooms 3 times during the day, morning, midday and at end of shift.

Maintain a clean working environment for laundry facility

Check laundry room chemical levels daily and inventory every three weeks for ordering.

Check in all orders (usually on Friday), sign invoice and give to the Director

Review Suite rentals with Director & Member Services Director weekly

Clean Suites as needed

Communicate with Co-Manager status of home linens needing service

Maintain linen inventory for the Food and Beverage Department

Check Members Restrooms before leaving every day

Make sure Department Golf cart is clean and ready for use daily.

Pick up Staff at Employee Housing on Saturday and Sunday. Will also be called as needed to pick up Staff from lower Employee parking area.

Work closely with Director to maintain the “High” standards set for the Department



Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to understand and follow directions.

Ability to understand and meet Mountaintop’s standards for health, safety, and excellence.

Ability to remain alert and focused in all Housekeeping environments.

Ability to work effectively with Housekeeping Team Members.

Detail-oriented and thorough.

Education and Experience:

Housekeeping Supervisory experience.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods walking or standing.

Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 35 pounds at a time.

Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and/or holidays as needed

Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.

Bilingual English/Spanish is plus.
